Project Description

Creote has developed a VR training and assessment experience for the Hong Kong Hospital Authority that targets elderlies with cognitive impairment. The design of VR experience uses a virtual environment that simulates environments of public estates in Hong Kong, and the patients are required to perform a series of cooking tasks within the VR experience. There is a training mode that encourages errorless learning and introduces priming into the therapeutic process to enhance procedural memory. The assessment mode lets therapists observe and analyse potential hazards in hygiene and safety when patients perform cooking tasks within the VR experience.
